Reading Mode Strip away ads and distractions so you can focus on what matters. Just the content you need, nothing else.
Immersive Reader by Microsoft The popup offers up to 2,000 characters per launch on the free plan. Immersive Reader in the floating toolbar and PDF Reader needs Pro. See Immersive Reader for details.
Text to Speech Helperbird will read text aloud automatically. Perfect for when you want to listen instead of read.
Dyslexia Fonts Automatically switches to fonts designed for better readability if you have dyslexia.
Letter Spacing Adjusts spacing between letters to make reading easier and more comfortable.
Magnifier Zoom in on text to make it bigger and clearer.
Font Changer Switch to fonts that work better for you. Pick what feels right.
Picture Dictionary Shows images related to words you're reading, which helps with understanding and memory.
Screenshot Capture what is on your screen and save it. (Reading the text out of a capture is the Screenshot Reader, which is a Pro feature.)
Translation Open a webpage or selected text in Google Translate. Pro adds selected-text results inside Helperbird and current-page PDF translation.
Emphasize Links Makes links stand out so you can spot them faster.

Free PDF Tools
You can open PDFs, search the current page and change zoom, read with Standard Voices, and add text or pasted images for free.
The side Notepad lets you type, format and choose Add Textbox to PDF without Pro. Download With my changes to keep a copy. Drawing, natural voices, dictation, grammar, equations and the advanced PDF reading tools need Pro.
