How to Unlock Helperbird Pro on iPhone and iPad

Unlock Helperbird Pro on iPhone and iPad. Subscribe on helperbird.com or use a key from your school, then enter your subscription key in Helperbird's settings in Safari.

·

Helperbird Pro on your iPhone or iPad is unlocked with your Helperbird account — the same one that works on every browser and device. Subscribe on helperbird.com, or use a key from your school or workplace, then enter your subscription key in Helperbird's settings in Safari.

The Helperbird app you downloaded from the App Store is just for setup — it shows you how to enable Helperbird in Safari. There's nothing to buy inside the app; your upgrade happens through your Helperbird account.

Get your subscription key

  1. Go to helperbird.com/pricing and subscribe to Helperbird Pro.
  2. Your subscription key arrives in the second email we send after you sign up.
  3. Got a key from your school or workplace instead? It works exactly the same way.

One subscription unlocks Helperbird everywhere — Safari on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac, plus Chrome, Edge, and Firefox on any computer.

Open Helperbird in Safari

  1. Make sure Helperbird is enabled in Safari first.
  2. Open Safari and go to any website. Tap the aA button in the address bar (on iPhone) or the puzzle piece icon (on iPad), then tap Helperbird to open the extension.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of Helperbird and tap the Settings cog icon, then tap Login. This opens a new tab where you can manage your subscription.

Enter your subscription key

  1. On the settings tab, scroll to the section titled Continue with Subscription key.
  2. Paste or type your key in the field, then tap Save.
  3. If your key is valid, a green verified checkmark appears next to the title — Helperbird Pro is now unlocked in Safari on your device.

If the key doesn't activate, double-check it for typos, make sure your subscription is active on helperbird.com, or contact support — we answer fast. For a closer look at each step, see how to use your subscription key.

Managing your subscription

  • Your subscription is managed from your account on helperbird.com — renew, cancel, or change payment details there anytime.
  • Helperbird Pro isn't purchased through the App Store, so there's nothing to restore or manage in your Apple ID subscriptions. Got a new iPhone or iPad? Just enter your subscription key again in Helperbird's settings in Safari.

Schools and organizations: license keys can be rolled out to managed iPads automatically — contact our sales team to set up bulk licensing.

It's easy to use with every webpage since it's just an extension. You can access lots of different functions to declutter a page (show only the relevant text and not ads, for example). You can add post it notes to annotate, and it has things like text-to-speech.

Brilliant extension! Have tired it for my daughter and she has come on leaps in school. While there are plenty of free features, the paid ones are only 30 USD a year. Can't recommend this enough.

Helperbird is an excellent extension supporting a range of learning differences. Aside from providing many evidence-based dyslexia-assistive tools, the extension also functions as an easy-to-use, feature-rich web experience customization tool suitable to support a wide range of cognitive differences (i.e., color blindness and ADHD-related focus concerns, among others). Also, the developer is a very good person who supports the various learning-different communities in many ways, including by designing the free version of Helperbird to provide enough functionality to be beneficial to people who cannot afford to subscribe to the full-function version.
