How to Change the Highlight Color on Any Website

What is Highlight Color?
The highlight color feature turns on Helperbird's highlighter and lets you choose the color of your highlighter pen. When it is on, you can highlight text on any website, just like using a highlighter pen on paper. Your highlights are saved, so they are still there when you come back to the page later.
This is the permanent highlighter tool for annotating pages, not the temporary color you see while selecting text.

Step 1: Open Helperbird
Click the Helperbird icon in your browser toolbar. It looks like a small owl and is usually in the top-right corner of your browser.
This will open the Helperbird menu.
Step 2: Open the All Features Section
Scroll down to the bottom of the Helperbird menu. You will see a section called All Features.
Click the arrow next to All Features to expand it and show all available features.
Step 3: Find Colors
Look through the list of features until you see Colors.
It has a yellow icon with a paint palette on it.
Step 4: Open the Colors Panel
Click the arrow button on the Colors row to open it.
A panel will appear with a list of color options: Text color, Link color, Background color, and Highlight color.
Step 5: Turn on Highlight Color
Scroll down to Highlight color at the bottom of the panel.
Click the toggle switch next to it to turn it on. The toggle will turn green when it is enabled.
Step 6: Choose Your Color
Once Highlight color is turned on, a color palette will appear below the toggle.
Click on any color to select it. This sets the color of your highlighter pen.
Tip: Choose a color that contrasts well with the text and background colors you are using. A bright yellow or light green often works well for most backgrounds.
Step 7: Start Highlighting
Select the text you want to highlight on any web page. In the Helperbird menu that appears above your selection, choose the highlighter and pick a color. You can choose from blue, green, red, yellow, gray, and purple.
Your highlights stay on the page when you come back to it, and clicking a highlight opens it in Helperbird Notes.
